UH-Daphne 'Spectre' Wells

My second character for *Underground-Heroes

Name: Daphne Wells
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 125 lbs.
Alias: Spectre
Power: Spirit and Undead Manipulation. Daphne's powers allow her to pull the spirits out of things and people that are dead, or control anything that is dead. She has talismans she carries on her persona at all times that are the name of dead people and animals. Their spirits are stored there and she can pull them out and use the spirits to attack. The spirits can also take over a person and make them do whatever Daphne wants, or the spirit can use that person's body to talk. Daphne also carries a small voodoo-like figure of a human body in which the spirits can take over it, and assume their usual appearance. Daphne herself can also be like a spirt and enter someone's mind and body, although she doesn't do it often, since it tires her out horribly and exhausts her physically and mentally.
Biography: Daphne grew up a very normal girl, aside from the fact that she teased the neighbor girl Amanda (Mojo!) a lot. Mainly, it was for her strange powers. Daphne continued this behavior until the say her grandmother died. At her grandmother's funeral, she was shocked when she could clearly see her grandmother's spirit looming over everybody as well as the spirts of others that had been stuck on Earth. Nobody believed when she started to talk and say that she could see the spirits. No one but her mother. Her mother just smiled at her and said "I know you do. And it's ok." her mother's mom could see spirits as well. The so called 'gift' seemed to skip generations,as he mother couldn't. Her mother had be taught by her mother what she had to do to unlock her child's true powers and she used all those teachings to train Daphne and let her learn to control her powers. However, the training started to take a horrible toll on Daphne as the spirits wouldn't leave her alone, and would constantly pester her and not let her think by herself. Which is when her mother discovered the talismans, in which they could bind the spirits. This made it easier for her to control the spirits. Her mother sent her into the underground after hearing how well Mojo was doing. She felt it was a good change for Daphne.

Daphne doesn't really enjoy her power. She thinks that the fact that she messes with people's spirits is a bit sick. Sometimes, she wishes she didn't have those powers at all. Or perhaps, different ones. But she still enjoys her powers from time to time. Daphne is a bit...silent, but she's really got a mischievous mind. When she talks, it's always in a very polite way. Daphne has changed since she saw Mojo and has become a nicer person. She tends to blush easily when she's embarassed or when she likes someone, otherwise she can be pretty snarky in her remarks. You can't really ever see her eyes, unless she pulls down her hood, which doesn't happen often. |D Daphne is also clairvoyant, meaning she gets visions of the future and past occasionally. If a spirit is nearby, she can sense it.
